The stands work great! In the past, I had a bit of trouble using them as I found them to be a bit tight, but I haven't had those issues lately. Not sure if the design is a bit different, or if it was user error, but they work great. I especially love that the design lets you form a cube (see the excellent replica videos on the subject if you need a tutorial) so that there's a built in bounce card (works especially well with the plain white surface for lighter pics or slate for darker ones if you want to absorb light). Overall, this is a great product, helps to make taking photos much easier, and it's a top notch company in terms of customer service and listening to what their customers want. Can't recommend any of their products enough!

Stuff at first. Like, it took two people to load the backdrops in. Now, after about 5 uses, they fit properly (not loosely!) and do the hard job of keeping these puppies at 90°. I’m glad they’re small and lightweight as well. Good, solid plastic.

I originally wrote a review with 3 stars because the stands were tight and it was a bit difficult to swap out different boards, but they loosened up with less than 5 uses and now they're great: loose enough to swap out easily, but tight enough to hold securely. Plus, the team offered to send me another set since I wasn't happy at first.

The stands are a little hard to put on and adjust. I get they surfaces need to be secure but getting the stands situated are a bit of a hassle. I'd prefer if they were less tight and also wider so that I can flip the surfaces without them falling out.

You’ll certainly need the stands in order for the surfaces to work as designed. Although you can use the surfaces as a background without these, I would recommend building a bundle and you can get them included.

The end pieces are very well made, but I have a very hard time getting the boards into the pieces. They are very tight. I don't want to bend the boards and wreck them. I just got them. Any suggestions?

It is great that the stands allow me to have that wall effect easily, but there is room for improvement. Since they lift up the replica board from the surface a little bit it's hard to get that straight line in the background where it meets the "wall" board (it always bend down a bit when the product is in place). I prop it up placing a foam board underneath the bottom surface which works well but it's not ideal.

First of all, love the products! I have a couple of comments/concerns. The surfaces are difficult to wedge into the stands. I have multiple surfaces and will want to change them out and concerned that I may break one of the surfaces. Am I doing something wrong? Second, there is a slight gap in the center of the backdrop service. There isn't anything to hold the entire surfaces together only the corners. Is this something that others have commented on or am I possibly doing something wrong. Thanks for your response.

The stands are fairly easy to use, light weight and fairly easy to take on and off. I bought three surfaces and it would be great if there was a way to attach a third or fourth surface to the stand. I was a little disappointed that I have to prop the third surface up against the others. I would definitely purchase other stands if they were made to attach three or four surfaces together.
