I love the surface so much! It looks exactly like my real, solid wood table, but I love it as a surface more than my table because I can pair it with the different backsplash Surfaces! This one is so fun to play with, a nice medium neutral, bright colors pop against it.
The Replica stands make all the difference when setting up angles for a corner with my surface studio. They are sturdy and well designed.
These hold the edge of the surface so strong I do not have to worry about the surfaces falling over. I have the studio so I am only using one to hold together 2 boards to create a corner and I love how well it works and how easy it is to change out the surfaces.
They hold up pretty well, light weight, and look great in my pics.
These stands are amazing. Without them I'd only be able to do a top-down photo, or use one of my children to stand behind the panel so I could lean it up against them. Having these little stand things is a total game changer. My children thank you.
Best idea ever to hold up a back for taking photos instead of trying to prop something up!
The mustard yellow is my new favorite! Can’t wait to see what other colors you come up with!
These are so easy to work with! I appreciate that they’re an unusual color so I can quickly spot them if I set them down somewhere.
These little stands make all the difference! It allows the surfaces to have tight closures against eachother!
The stands work great! In the past, I had a bit of trouble using them as I found them to be a bit tight, but I haven't had those issues lately. Not sure if the design is a bit different, or if it was user error, but they work great. I especially love that the design lets you form a cube (see the excellent replica videos on the subject if you need a tutorial) so that there's a built in bounce card (works especially well with the plain white surface for lighter pics or slate for darker ones if you want to absorb light). Overall, this is a great product, helps to make taking photos much easier, and it's a top notch company in terms of customer service and listening to what their customers want. Can't recommend any of their products enough!
Great tool. Glad RS thought of it!
High quality and they hold the surfaces together perfectly! Thank you!
Great supports for the surfaces
Held the boards sturdy even when the whole step up was placed on a soft surface.
Stuff at first. Like, it took two people to load the backdrops in. Now, after about 5 uses, they fit properly (not loosely!) and do the hard job of keeping these puppies at 90°. I’m glad they’re small and lightweight as well. Good, solid plastic.
The Surfaces by Replica Surfaces are fantastic! And the stands that are available keep two Surfaces together to make the perfect mini studio! I just so happen to love the sea green color of the Stands too! I highly recommend the stands - you get them for free when you purchase multiple Surfaces!
The ideal tools to set up the boards!
Well made and fits my Replica surfaces well.
Cheap product. Thought the panels would be thicker and more stable for the price I paid. Rip off
These are very flimsy and feel inexpensive. I am sending them back because they are not worth the money.
They are super easy to snap the boards into. So clever!!
This is my first order, I am still getting the hang of this new way to take product photos. The stands are so much easier than trying to prop things up with tape, or clothes pins...the backgrounds stay where I put them!
These stands are so incredibly helpful for busy products shoot days
I love my new set up! Fits will sometimes feels a bit too stiff but you can work around it!
I originally wrote a review with 3 stars because the stands were tight and it was a bit difficult to swap out different boards, but they loosened up with less than 5 uses and now they're great: loose enough to swap out easily, but tight enough to hold securely. Plus, the team offered to send me another set since I wasn't happy at first. Great product...and I LOVE the boards!
I find this odd that these don’t come included with the purchase of tiles being that you need them if you purchase 2. Although they do feel a bit more robust than the actual tiles.
The stands are a little hard to put on and adjust. I get they surfaces need to be secure but getting the stands situated are a bit of a hassle. I'd prefer if they were less tight and also wider so that I can flip the surfaces without them falling out.
You’ll certainly need the stands in order for the surfaces to work as designed. Although you can use the surfaces as a background without these, I would recommend building a bundle and you can get them included.
I'm in love with these! I wish I could afford them all. I wish the stands were a bit longer to keep them from wobbling, but overall I think this product is amazing!!!
Love how easy it is to swap out the surfaces and secure them with the replica stands!
Works great holding both backgrounds together!
I like it because it holds the boards together well. it’s just a pain getting on and off
Easy to use and they hold the boards perfectly
Perfect! Great quality and super easy to use. Would love to get these in white or black...
The end pieces are very well made, but I have a very hard time getting the boards into the pieces. They are very tight. I don't want to bend the boards and wreck them. I just got them. Any suggestions?
These get the job done once I manage to get the surfaces in, but getting the surfaces in is a bit awkward and hard. However, they still make my life so much easier that I will certainly keep using them.
I just found it a little hard to get the surfaces inside these.
It is great that the stands allow me to have that wall effect easily, but there is room for improvement. Since they lift up the replica board from the surface a little bit it's hard to get that straight line in the background where it meets the "wall" board (it always bend down a bit when the product is in place). I prop it up placing a foam board underneath the bottom surface which works well but it's not ideal.
Easy to use corners are amazing for quick set ups.
First of all, love the products! I have a couple of comments/concerns. The surfaces are difficult to wedge into the stands. I have multiple surfaces and will want to change them out and concerned that I may break one of the surfaces. Am I doing something wrong? Second, there is a slight gap in the center of the backdrop service. There isn't anything to hold the entire surfaces together only the corners. Is this something that others have commented on or am I possibly doing something wrong. Thanks for your response.
The stands are fairly easy to use, light weight and fairly easy to take on and off. I bought three surfaces and it would be great if there was a way to attach a third or fourth surface to the stand. I was a little disappointed that I have to prop the third surface up against the others. I would definitely purchase other stands if they were made to attach three or four surfaces together.
These stands are super easy to use and they’re durable. I have two sets and they work perfect to keep three replica surfaces together if I’m doing artificial lighting.
Stands are expensive for what they are. They should be made with a heavier material.
This design could be improved upon, it's not easy to get the surfaces in and it can take a bit of adjusting to make sure there are no gaps.
It was a little tricky to get the boards into these holders. I also wish they were a bit larger.
A little difficult to use initially, I just kept it on once it fit.
These are good once you get the hang of putting everything together. They’re a little tough to get the hang of, but overall work well.
LOVE these...just wish they were clear! Yes, I can photoshop them out, but if they were clear, it could potentially save time?
Hold together the backgrounds well
I would like these to hold the surfaces more securely.
The stands make the process so easy! They hold the surfaces without leaving any indentations and are simple to put on.
These are amazing, they make using the surfaces SO easy!!
They snap on easily!
Love the concept of these, however, they are not very intuitive when putting together. It was quite difficult to figure out how to get everything lined up just right so they worked. I assume it will get easier with time but out of the box, it took me an extra 15 minutes to set up my shoot just to get these on the surfaces correctly. It would be nice if the surfaces had markings on the back side as to where to place the stands. It would be much easier than trying to line it all up and hold it still.
Outstanding product love it great service keep up the great service Thank Yoy Ron
Fantastic tool! a MUST-HAVE to go with your new surfaces!
The set of replica stand is a must-have for all of the replica surfaces! The plastic stands are made of durable material and hold the two replica surfaces together. So brilliantly designed!
The stands are great scene support Thanks Rick
Great for combining two backgrounds without any hassle. It secures backgrounds tightly so the seam between them is minimal
Mary Beth T.
Love that she thought of everything! These are so perfect to seamlessly attach 2 surfaces together. Must buy if you have more than one board!!
The two clips hold the boards perfectly. Everything from this company is ultra high quality. Love it
These things are incredible. They're so tiny but do such a great job holding up the surfaces. Best part is they don't show in photos. Replica got this one perfectly right.
Love the stands! They take a little getting use to but they work great! They are easy to transport and are not bulky.
Honestly these are genius! They seem like a small thing but i use them for more than just connecting a bottom and back panel. I’m able to use them to make extra side panels for bouncing light or even just having more “walls”. They are incredibly strong and grippy. They truly do elevate the entire setup immensely!
The stands don't meet for an actual 90 degree angle, leaving this looking super unrealistic. Two thumbs down.
I love how easily they stand the boards up.
Easy to use! These little guys make the backdrops super secure and stable. No more propping up backdrops with vases and heavy objects only to have them fall mid-shoot. These allow me flexibility to adjust the angle of my "studio" on the fly and breakdown/set up easier.
The perfect complement for your surfaces ;)
