Here's how the Replica Riser showcases your products without stealing the spotlight:
The Replica Riser can be positioned and photographed at multiple angles to create abundant content of every product you sell.
The three most useful angles for product photos are eye level, flat lay, and 45 degrees. Let's see how the Riser works for all three:
EYE LEVEL PHOTOS
Eye level photos are excellent for products with side detail and minimal top detail. For eye level photos, the Riser can be placed on its base or side. Base placement creates a platform like this:
Shoot this scene at eye level to create this photo, highlighting the detail on the side of your product.
Alternatively, rotate the Riser square to camera to create a platform for your product and its packaging:
For added detail, consider draping a styling towel asymmetrically around the Riser:
For smaller subjects, place the Riser on its side for 6 inches of elevation.
Try slightly different angles (e.g. move your camera between -10 degrees and +10 degrees) and choose your favorite.
For small products, a slight upward angle adds a ton of "majesty." Hold your camera slightly lower than eye level to shoot upward.
FLAT LAY PHOTOS
Flay lay photos are best for products that have most detail on top, with minimal detail on the side. You can also lay tall products on their side to take advantage of the flat lay angle.
Place your product on top of the Riser and shoot from overhead. The Riser creates a "frame" around your product that adds dimension to your scene without stealing the show.
The tall, 2 inch height creates separation between your product and the underlying Surface, allowing you camera to lightly blur the Surface.
45 DEGREE PHOTOS
Choose a 45 degree angle for products with detail on the top AND side.
