I was hesitant about this surface since I use my buffet for many of my pics. But I’m very happy that I ended up getting it. This is at least mobile, my buffet is not! Works great with my slate and I can’t wait to try it with some of my other products. It’s more subtle for use with my men’s line of products. It’s beautifully detailed and very realistic looking. I pop it on my studio table and I’m immediately thinking of another product to showcase with it!

I love the color and tone of this surface. The only thing I don't love is it's not as matte as the other surfaces I purchased. I shot the same type of product from the same camera angle and lighting setup on 5 different Replica Surfaces and this was the only one that was a little reflective and washed out on one side from my key light. It was pretty easy to fix in post but the other 4 surfaces didn't need additional retouching for the background to have even lighting on all sides.

I have 19 surfaces total and I love them, but this one is not my favorite. It is a bit glossier than I expected it to be, and that makes it too obvious that it is fake wood in my pics. It produces more glare than I was hoping for, which is an issue I do not have with the lighter wood Replica Surfaces that I have. The gloss is similar to what you find on laminate floors. I doubt I will end up using this one much and wouldn't recommend this one for anyone looking for a natural wood look.
